EXHIBITION
Metals
is more than just a collection of objects
made of metal for public and domestic spaces:
it is a new typology of furnishing for new
and different uses.
It is based on the idea of testing the possibilities
of a single material, metal, of pushing
its performance features to the point of
becoming as ductile as a strand of cotton
candy, modulating its surface with a play
of different finishes, interpreting its
hidden soul(s) to generate unexpected effects.
Thus a heterogeneous family of objects was
created by a group of designers equally
heterogeneous in terms of both age and training
- a family diverse enough, however, to represent
a wide range of stylistic codes.
